Gardiner Museum - Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects - 2006

The formal representation of the Gardiner Museum is strictly cubical so the building falls under the category of Modern Design. The design of this building may also be called Universal as it shows how the sky may be merged into a building thus presenting a reminder of our Universe.

Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research - University of Toronto - Behnisch, Architects Alliance - 2003 - 2006

The Centre presents a simplistic approach to the design of this building. I may also categorize this building as Green Modern since it incorporates the principles of Sustainable Design within itself. The plant-life supports bio-remedification processes that filter out "grey" water, help sustain a healthy level of Oxygen supply and deliver reusable water for toilets.

The facade of the building is an unobtrusive modern injection into the historic lineage of the buildings of the University of Toronto (UofT) along College Street.
